Imperial College London Department of Primary Care & Public Health is conducting a study to investigate the prevalence of social isolation & loneliness in the community setting. The questionnaire should not take you more than 5 minutes to complete and all your responses will be pseudo-anonymous.

We have a zero tolerance approach to aggression, abuse, violence and anti-social behaviour towards our staff. Any actions or language that cause distress or constitute harassment, whether online, over the phone, or in person, will not be accepted.

Discriminatory, threatening, violent, or verbally abusive behaviour towards our staff, other patients, or our premises is unacceptable. This includes shouting, swearing, and making homophobic, racist, or other offensive remarks.

In such cases, we will take appropriate action, which may involve contacting the police and removing the patient from our practice list. We also reserve the right to remove any patient who posts abusive or defamatory comments on social media. Click here to read our other practice policies.

Market Weighton Practice has launched a new ‘Total Triage’ system, which allows you as the patient to navigate your way to the most appropriate care by submitting an online consultation without the need to phone the practice. Click here to find out more about the new system.

The practice will be closing on the following dates and times, to ensure protected time for learning events.  There will be a 12pm practice closure, with a re-opening time at 8am the following working day. 

The dates below allow  GPs, nurses and practice teams to attend a half-day training session called Protected Time for Learning (PTL). This helps them stay up-to-date with service developments, update their skills and take part in essential training, all of which help improve care for our patients.
